IN CONSIDERING How to fund a human-mission to Mars, and eventual settlement, two methods stand out. One is a mega-budget approach costing hundreds of billions of dollars and the other is based on an incremental strategy. Frank Stratford of Melbourne, Australia, is chief executive officer and founder of Mars-Drive. His writing is focused on solutions to commercial space development with a focus on Mars settlement.
