IN RESPONSE TO S&T editor Robert Naeye's March 2009 Spectrumcolumn asking whether humanswill someday return to the Moon,the answer is simply "yes." But theywon't be bringing along an Ameri-can flag. They will be Chinese.U.S. citizens will wake up one dayto watch Chinese taikonauts set-ting up a lunar base, resulting inus having to catch up once again.
