Our monthly finder diagram for Saturn'ssatellites (page 56) includes five of them;the closest to the planet is difficult littleEnceladus. The diagram omits tiny Mimaseven closer in, because it would crowd thelines too much and because most amateurscopes can't show Mimas. At Saturn's meanopposition it's magnitude 12.8 compared toEnceladus's 11.8. And worse, it's deeper inSaturn's overwhelming glare.
