The era of high grain prices is temporarily over. "We've lived in a period of time the last several years where there has been very little grain carryover, markets have been good, and almost everybody has been marketing grain by June 1," says Gary Woodruff, GSI. Like it or not, the tides have changed.To most effectively market your grain, you may need to store it into summer and possibly into the next year. To do so, you're going to need to store it properly. If you don't and it goes out of condition, you may have to market corn before you're ready,warns Woodruff.
