Exports of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) are booming, mostly because of the rapid growth of sales to China. The U.S. ethanol industry is on pace to export 8 million metric tons (MMT) of DDGS this year, according to Dan Keefe, manager of international operations for DDGS, U.S. Grains Council (USGC), Washington, DC.
