摘要

The huge pollock fishery is No. 1 in terms of volume and valuein the Bering Sea, and with the industry facing cuts in quota for thenext few years, some are uneasy over the progress of the B (nonroe) season this summer. In Dutch Harbor, city resource analyst Frank Kelty reported veryslow fishing for this B season, which opened June 10. For the pastthree years, Kelty said, vessels have been moving farther north tofind fish.
