It's probably not overstating the case that there has been a dramatic transformation in the ownership make-up of the North American coated papers industry. Since 2000, over 50% of the current North American capacity has new ownership; four mills have, in fact, changed ownership twice in this time frame. The most significant ownership changes include the following.
