No one just sits and waits anymore. In today's world, even our time for resting is planned, organized and used as efficiently as possible. Our everyday lives, whether at home, at work or on the go, are profoundly influenced by megatrends such as globalization, digitization, increased mobility and modern communications. These things also have an effect on the design of public spaces and waiting areas in airports, train stations and similar environments. Ever greater demands are made on interior fittings, seating and spatial layouts. Purely functional qualities such as security and durability are complemented by emotional factors, home-like design elements, sophisticated electrification concepts and multiple uses.
