When his first 4WD Cossie-powered Focus was destroyed by fire, Martin Kois decided to build another even better one. As you do... There's a definite theme with Performance Ford cover cars at the moment. The jaw dropping Sierra three-door that graced the front of the September issue was reborn after a death-defying crash on the Mi, and it's a similar story this month as well. This isn't Martin Kois' first attempt at a YB-powered Focus you see. The previous incarnation was a similar car in that it was built from a standard shell to compete in European hillclimb events, featured 4WD, 650bhp of Cosworth's finest, was dripping in carbon fibre and packed with WRC goodies, and if you cast your mind back to the May 2007 issue then you'll remember that it was also the car that we chose to celebrate the 20th.
