The relatively new U.b. Pecans initiative receiving MAP (Market Access Program) funding from USDA continues to create a presence for pecans in overseas markets. Most recently, the 2012 marketing program commenced at the huge Fruit Logistica trade show in Berlin, Germany. Cindy Wise and Dan Zedan from the United States and marketing specialist Corry de Wit of The Netherlands manned the booth and spread the word about pecans to prospective worldwide buyers.
