THE UK's BG was the clear winner in the 19th licensing round,which threw open large areas of the gas-prone Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea.The firm was awarded five licences as operator - more even than Statoil,which won three.BG was also given three non-operating interests - it said it achieved 100% success in its application.
