DOOMSDAY was averted.But the foiled attack by suicide bombers on the kingdom's Abqaiq oil-processing centre on 24 February has raised a stack of questions about Saudi vulnerability to terrorist attack and the implications for the global oil market.The first question appears to have been answered.Initial reports said security guards had prevented the militants-wearing Saudi Ar-amco uniforms and driving two cars loaded with explosives-from passing through two sets of security gates on the perimeter of the Abqaiq plant,which processes 6m-7m barrels a day of crude.
