PIPED Caspian oil could be feeding central Europe within three years,following an agreement between six European countries to go ahead with a feasibility study for a new pipeline.Last month,the governments of Romania,Serbia-Montenegro,Croatia,Slovenia,Italy and Austria endorsed plans to build a 0.6m-0.8m barrels a day(b/d)crude pipeline between Romanian's Black Sea port of Constanta and Italy's Adriatic port at Trieste,where it will connect with the Trans-Alpine Pipeline system to supply refineries in Germany and Austria.Another spur will supply Italian refineries in the north of the country,through Venice.
