The 2013 Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference was hosted by McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario this year from October 17 to October 20. This completely student-organized conference has been an exciting opportunity for undergraduate physics students since the first conference was held back in 1965 and this year was certainly no exception. Attendees had the chance to explore the city of Hamilton, view the impressive research facilities of McMaster University, hear engaging lectures from distinguished physicists, gain experience presenting their own scientific research and network with representatives of Canadian Physics Graduate Programs at the graduate studies fair. The 2013 CUPC involved over 160 undergraduate students from across Canada (and even two from Hong Kong!) and six plenary lectures. In addition, 27 different options for graduating students were represented at the graduate studies fair.
