EPA's proposed modifications to its TSCA Inventory Update Reporting (IUR) rule would substantially increase the amount of manufacturing, processing and use information about chemicals that companies would have to report to the agency. The changes would remove certain reporting thresholds, increase the frequency of reporting to every four years instead of five, and refine information submissions regarding commercial and consumer use, among a host of other modifications.
