Around 17,000 people in Apex,N.C.last week were asked to evacuate after a fire at a hazardous waste disposal facility caused a toxic chemical cloud to cover the town.The fire at EQ Industrial Services started around 10 p.m.on Oct.5,spewing a plume of chlorine gas 50 feet into the air and sending 18 people to hospital emergency rooms.
