Biotechnology is among leading forces reshaping world agriculture,according to a report released by North Dakota State University's Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Studies.Authored by agricultural economists Jeremy Mattson and Won Koo,the report says biotechnology is fostering increased crop yields and productivity on the limited land available for agriculture.It is also encouraging better quality and lower priced food products for consumers,they say.
