The Minnesota state Senate April 17 passed a measure that would,if enacted,require the Department of Health to establish maximum allowable concentrations of perflurooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in drinking water - one day after the state issued a fish consumption advisory for a Minneapolis lake and parts of the Mississippi River because of excess PFOS levels.
