Environmental Working Group has updated its Shopper's Guide to Pesticides,giving the fifth edition a new look and new lists of produce that have high and low levels of pesticide residues.EWG recommends buying organic,but if a consumer has a tight budget,the wallet-size pamphlet lists the"Dirty Dozen"- non-organic fruits and vegetables to avoid due to high pesticide residue levels in addition to the"Clean 15,"which have the lightest pesticide load.
