Sens.Pat Roberts(R-Kan.)and Ben Nelson(ID-Neb.)introduced legislation Nov.18 to provide up to 100,000 per facility in tax credits to businesses that take various steps to improve security at sites where pesticides and fertilizers are stored.The Agricultural Business Security Tax Credit Act of 2005(S.2052)would provide tax credits on the amount paid to implement various measures,including employee security training and background checks as well as perimeter and computer network security.
