The EPA Children's Health Protection Advisory Committee(CHPAC)agreed on a draft letter Oct.25 outlining specific recommendations for the agency to consider on how to better protect the children of farm workers from pesticide exposure.The letter was written by members of CHPAC's Pesticide Task Group.CHPAC is a body of researchers,academicians,health care providers,environmentalists,children's advocates,professionals,government employees,and members of the public who advise EPA on regulations,research,and communication issues relevant to children.
