Physicians for Social Responsibility and a number of other organizations have conducted a survey of the"Top 5 Bush Administration Worst Actions"that have increased exposure to pesticides and toxic chemicals,threatened public health or undermined scientific integrity.The survey,which closed Oct 10,contained a list of 20 actions the Bush administration has taken over the course of the president's two terms from which to choose.Among the actions:approving the registration of organophosphate pesticides,failing to ratify international treaties to ban persistent organic pollutants and restrict other dangerous chemicals,and approving the registration of methyl iodide.
