Starting Jan.1,2007,parents in California will have the right to know when pesticides are going to be used at their children's private day care centers due to a new law taking effect.The law,AB 2865,signed by Gov.Arnold Schwarzenegger(R)in September,will extend existing pesticide notification requirements in schools and public day care centers to also include private day care facilities.The law only applies to business-operated private day cares;family day care centers are exempt.
