摘要

A report published last week links birth defects in children born to migrant farm workers to the women's work in Ag-Mart tomato fields during early pregnancy. According to the report from the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch of North Carolina's Department of Public Health, there is a plausible association between one woman's pesticide exposure and the birth of her child without limbs.A link between pesticide exposure and defects in two other babies cannot be ruled out.
