A new study has found that Illinois corn growers could see annual losses of up to 577 million if atrazine is banned in the state.An economist at the University of Illinois,Don Coursey,analyzed the costs corn growers would face if they could no longer use atrazine and the corresponding impact on Illinois' economy.The study was sponsored by Syngenta Crop Protection.
