摘要

Dissipation of imidacloprid applied in soil under cardamom cultivation as termiticidal application at rates of 240g ai ha~(-1) and at half and double doses, in cropped and non cropped situations is reported. Residues were detected upto 20 days in the treated soil. The dissipation followed first order reaction kinetics and the half life values ranged between 2.58-3.96 days. The persistence was marginally higher in non-cropped soil than in cropped soil and there was an increase in persistence with an increase in concentration of imidacloprid.
