Attorneys representing nine environmental and labor groups filed a federal lawsuit last week to force EPA to reconsider its July 31,2002 decision to re-register the insecticide endosulfan. The groups allege that EPA did not adequately consider the health risks to children and workers, as required by FIFRA, or the risks to endangered species, as required by the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
