California's Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has signaled its intent to initiate a data call-in on six additional nanoscale materials before the end of 2010.Under state law AB 289, California agencies responsible for chemical regulation can contact all manufacturers or importers of a chemical within the state for information relevant to its fate and transport in the environment. The parties contacted must respond within one year.
