In the Oct.3 Federal Register (72 FR 56344),EPA issued a notice requesting comments on the agency's draft pesticide registration notice entitled "Environmental Hazard Statements for Outdoor Residential Pesticides" (see page 17).The document recommends new environmental hazards statements designed to replace language created for agricultural products with statements that are easier for consumers to understand.
