A new study reviewing more than 80 biomonitoring studies indicates humans are internally exposed to unconjugated, or biologically active, bisphenol A (BPA) — a bold contrast to two human toxicokinetic studies that suggest the plastics chemical is promptly metabolized through the liver and intestines to its conjugated form and excreted in the urine.
