The American Chemistry Council will introduce a new bulk liquid chemical terminal inspection audit system to its Responsible Care code this year after agreeing to a new partnership with the Chemical Distribution Institute,a UK non-profit inspection and audit organization.The agreement,which will last for three years,was signed May 23,and takes immediate effect.The alliance will,according to a July 21 ACC statement,provide Responsible Care partner companies in the terminals se'ctor"the option of using the GDI-Terminals(CDI-T)inspection system to meet their Responsible Care certification requirements."
