Panos, a London-based non-profit organization that works with media in developing countries, has issued a report examining how decisions about bioengineered crops are made in five developing countries: Brazil, India, Kenya, Thailand and Zambia. The GM Debate -- Who Decides? examines who has access to officials with the power to decide, who is being left out of the biotech debate, and how the media are covering the biotech controversy.
