Six years after being signed into law,a pesticide use reporting system(PURS)in Oregon appears to have funding to be put into effect.The state House voted July 28 to approve a modified version of a bill sent over from the Senate that would fund the program,which is intended to give health and environmental researchers data about which pesticides are being used where,and in what quantities.
