Industry and non-governmental groups reiterated long standing concerns last week over the possible U.S.adoption,for pesticides,of a new global system for classifying and identifying chemical hazards.While some groups,like CropLife America(CLA),remain unalterably opposed to the system,other industry groups like the Consumer Specialty Products Association(CSPA)cautiously support it,and nongovernmental groups like the Natural Resources Defense Council and Farmworker Justice Fund believe its scope is too limited.
