EPA's Human Studies Review Board (HSRB)last week finalized its recommendations for protocol submissions containing confidential business information (CBI),stressing the importance of openness and transparency during a teleconference to finalize its draft report on an earlier meeting held last October.According to EPA,research sponsors and investigators have indicated that they will make CBI claims for parts of future protocol submissions to the HSRB,and as a result the agency asked the board to discuss the handling of material claimed to be CBI.
