Mumbai-Reliance Industries Ltd.(RIL)last week received approval from the company's board of directors to invest 3-billion in an integrated cracker and petrochemicals complex at Jamnagar,Gu-PQ arat,India.The cracker will produce 2-million t/y of ethylene,propyl ene and its downstream commodity and specialty derivatives, using refinery off gases and other byproducts as feedstock. The project is expected to come on stream in 2010 or 2011.
