Jianssu-Ineos Phenol last week said it intends to go ahead with plans to invest in a 400,000-t/y phenol and 250,000-t/y acetone project in Zhang-jiagang,Jiangsu Province,China(PCN,5 June 06,p 1).The company,which will be the sole owner of the project,has already received approval for the plan from China's National Development Reform Commission,the Ministry of Commerce and the Jiangsu Province Administration of Industry and Commerce.
