Tianjin Bo-hai Chemical Industry Co.'s Tianjin Soda Plant has selected the LP Oxo Selector 10 technology licensed by Dow Technology Licensing and Davy Process Technology (DPT) for a new global scale LP Oxo plant to be built in the Lingang Industrial Area in Tianjin,China.Design and engineering work is scheduled to begin this month for a plant to produce 250,000 t/y of 2-ethylhexanol and butanols.Production is expected to begin in June 2009.
