Tehran-Stamicarbon last week confirmed that it has received three contracts to supply its urea technology to Iran's National Petrochemical Co. for three new urea complexes being built in Iran (PCN, 10 Mar 08, p 4). The plants, being built in Golestan, Zanjan and Lordegan, will each have a capacity of 3,250 t/d of urea. Stamicarbon said that the three plants are expected to become operational in 2012.
