Oslo-Aker Kvaerner last week officially changed its name to Aker Solutions and, at the same time, introduced a new logo and visual profile (PCN, 28 Jan 08, p 3). "The name Aker Solutions represents a simplification and strengthening of our corporate identity and outlines our offering of comprehensive industrial solutions," said President and Chief Executive Simen Lieungh. "It identifies our connection with Aker, a large industrial group with operations in industries and sectors with which we are engaged," he added.
