Ludwisshafen-BASF said it will reorganize its global styrenics business into new subsidiaries and will add the sale of its styrene copolymer business to its divestment process. As part of the reorganization, new subsidiaries will be formed and will operate the styrenics business independently. The new companies, which will combine the commodities styrene monomers, polystyrene, styrene butadiene copolymer and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, as well as certain styrene copolymers, are expected to be established in January.
