Jubail-Huntsman Corp. and the Al-Zamil Group of Saudi Arabia have signed a $195-million fully Islamic financing with Saudi Holland Bank, which will be used for their equally-owned Arabian Amines Co. (PCN, 17 Dec 07, p 3). Arabian Amines is building a 27,000-t/y ethyleneamines plant at Jubail that will be based on Huntsman's technology. The $289-million project is scheduled to begin production in January 2010.
