Chennai- India's Sanmar Group said the company's plans to proceed with construction of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Cuddalore, India, are dependent on Sanmar receiving environmental clearances for a larger capacity project. The company earlier awarded Jacobs Engineering a contract for a 170,000-t/y PVC plant at Cuddalore (PCN, 30 July 07, p 2).
