Orange-DuPont's Sabine River Works ethylene plant in Orange, Texas, shut down prior to the 13 Sept. 2008 arrival of Hurricane Ike, has resumed operations, according to a local news report quoting Mike Sanchez, manager of the site. The ethylene facility is the last Sabine unit to return to normal production, while other units have resumed operations in a staged process over the last several months. DuPont earlier declined to disclose ethylene capacity at its Sabine plant.
