Doha-Qatar Fertiliser Co. (Qafco) has awarded Proplant Inc. an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for Qafco's ammonia and urea plants steam integration project at Mesaieed, Qatar. The project, scheduled to be completed in 10 months, involves tying in a new cogeneration steam production unit and integrating all of Qafco's existing production facilities, said Proplant.
