Moscow-Sibur last week confirmed that it is on schedule to commission its new 50,000-t/y expandable polystyrene (EPS) facility on the Sibur-Khimprom site, in Russia's Perm Region, late this year (PCN, 24 Mar 08, p 3).The company said it is "starting to actively conclude contracts with buyers" for the supply of EPS, which will be based on Sunpor technology.
