Baku-Foster Wheeler and State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan Republic (Socar) have signed a memorandum of understanding for a joint venture to provide services for the development of new oil, gas processing and petrochemical projects in Azerbaijan. Under the agreement, Foster Wheeler and Socar will prepare a joint action plan for the establishment and incorporation of the joint venture, which will be headquartered in Baku.
