Geismar-BASF has awarded Jacobs Engineering Group a contract to provide engineering and procurement services for BASF's polyols production units in Geismar,La.Earlier this year,BASF announced plans to invest 125-million at Geismar as part of a project to increase its U.S.polyols capacity to 350,000 t/y from 250,000 t/y by 2008(PCN,10 Apr 06,p 4).
