Banskok-Ube Industries and Mitsubishi Corp. have developed a process to reduce nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions and have undertaken a "clean development mechanism" (CDM) to lower N2O in the production of caprolactam at Ube's Thai Caprolactam Public Co. Ltd. (TCL) subsidiary plant in Hayong, Thailand.
