Sohar-Dow Chemical, Oman Oil Co. and the Omani government's planned petrochemical complex in Oman could be completed in 2012, reported Reuters. The project, which was delayed by capital expenditures, will include an 800,000-t/y, three-unit polyethylene project, as well as feedstock production facilities and a gas cracker, Dow earlier told PCN (PCN, 29 Jan 07, p 3).
